Program topics offered are focused on growing coaching skills, business development or personal development.
We strive to make the programs as interactive as possible. Following the program we sometimes break into two
groups for the last part of the meeting. Newer coaches or those interested in becoming a coach meet with a
senior coach to discuss the meeting and/or ask questions and get advice about starting a coaching practice.
Coaches who have been coaching for approximately 2 years + meet to discuss their perspectives on the program
and how they see learning from the program enhancing their coaching practice.
In addition to our monthly program, we invite members to present a Book Review each month. The Book Review
is a short presentation, about 10 minutes, on a selected book that would enhance the knowledge and coaching
skills of the membership.
Following the meeting, we sometimes break into two groups for the last part of the meeting. Newer coaches
and those interested in becoming a coach meet with a senior coach to ask questions, get advice, and hear
different perspectives. Coaches who have been coaching for 2+ years meet in a separate group to discuss the
program topic and beyond.
Following the meeting, everyone is invited to join us for a "no-host" dinner gathering at a nearby casual
restaurant. It's a great opportunity to get better acquainted with coaching and with coaches in an informal
environment.
Continuing Education credit is frequently offered for ICF-approved programs, which can be used when applying
for, or renewing, ICF accreditation. Meeting attendance is required for eligibility; certificates are
distributed at the conclusion of the program.
